इल _ila

इल a. [इल्-क] Sleepy.

-ला 1 The earth; पुष्टिकाम इलां यजेत् Bhāg.2.3.5.

-Comp. -गोलः, -लम् the earth, the globe.

-तलम् 1 the fourth place in the circle of the zodiac.

-2 the surface of the earth.

-धरः a mountain; गगनार्णवमन्तरा सुमेरोः कुलजानां गरुडैरिलाधराणाम् Śi.2.54.

-वृत्तम् one of the nine Varṣas or divisions of the known world; पश्चान्माल्यवतः प्राच्यां गन्धमादनशैलतः । इलावृतं नीलगिरेर्याम्यतो निषधादुदक् ॥
